Internship Program Overview
Lowe's 2020 Summer Internship Program offers an immersive leadership assignment to undergraduate students, enhancing their understanding of the retail business world through valuable, hands-on experience with a FORTUNE 50 company. Internships begin with orientation in late May and conclude in early August. The goal of this role is conversion into a full-time position for those that successfully complete the internship and upon candidate's graduation.
The internship will consist of a project-based assignment to broaden learning, experience, organizational knowledge, and business acumen. We are looking for people driven by potential. Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Operations, Merchandising, or Retail Studies with expected graduation date of December 2021 or May 2022
Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is required
Proficiency in MS Office Programs (specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and other analytics programs/systems
Strong collaborative, analytical, problem solving, communication and presentation skills are required
Relevant internship and/or work experience with data analytics, merchandising, or strategy development is a plus, as is experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organizationPotential Areas of Learning

As an Online Merchandising Intern, students will focus on Online integration of core merchandising strategies and optimization of product assortments to create customer focused, omni-channel experiences in key areas such as:Online Merchandising

The Analyst, Online Events & Promotions, is responsible for planning and executing online events & promotions and the supporting activities. Example responsibilities include executing tasks in support of online events/promotions in partnership with our Bangalore team, collaborating with cross-functional groups, and building experience in defining event scope and approach through the use of testing and analytics.
