Senior Accountant Manufacturing Corporate HQ- Senior Accountant In need of an experienced, organized Senior Accountant in the Glendale Heights, Illinois area. As a Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Senior Accountant Major responsibilities - Prepare monthly consolidated P L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting - Participate in various department-wide initiatives - Adherence to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process - Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests - Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP - Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations - Aid in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors - Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner - Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary For immediate consideration please email resume to Email blocked - click to apply
- Skillful in analytical, quantitative and social skills - Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment - Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills - 7+ years of overall general accounting experience - Strong time management skills preferred - Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus - Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued - Deep understanding of accounting policy - General familiarity with Financial Audits - Practical knowledge of Financial Statement Audits - Accounting Systems experience - BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred - Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment - ERP system experience - Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines - Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
