About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Banking Development Specialist

In this role, you will:
  • Seeks to grow the business across all Middle Market Banking segments including Emerging Middle Market, Investment Real Estate, Diverse Segments and Specialized Coverage.
  • Actively identifies and manages a portfolio of prospects and establishes a disciplined calling strategy that targets key decision makers.
  • Position Middle Market Banking, and product partners, for new business opportunities through consistent marketing efforts and delivery of value-added ideas.
  • Provide sales execution leadership including: Helping to lead the day-to-day execution of new customer acquisition strategies, think strategically to align local market opportunity with the bank's execution capabilities, and engaging with internal partners to bring the whole bank to the market.
  • Represents Wells Fargo in the marketplace through active engagement and high visibility in the local business community.
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Business Banking Development experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Marketing experience
  • Account relationship management experience
  • Treasury Management experience/product knowledge
  • Experience growing a business or portfolio of clients
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of commercial or specialty group: lending, loan servicing, products, and credit practices
  • Highly motivated and self-driven to succeed
  • Strong networking ability to fuel business development
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
