Leading International Private Equity firm ($88B+ AUM) that is rapidly expanding their US-operations seeks a Fund Accounting Analyst to join their growing Fund Finance team. The successful candidate will oversee and manage all of the analytical, financial and accounting aspects of an investment fund.

Description

    • Oversee and manage all of the analytical, financial and accounting aspects of an investment fund.
    • Manage the daily operations of assigned firm funds, parallel funds and side vehicles and the fund accounting processes
    • Manage the debt related tasks (covenants, reporting, repayments, interest computation…)
    • Reconcile the financial information and analyze discrepancies (i.e. hedging contracts and FX gain/loss)
    • Assist with the fund valuations, IRRs, and other performance measurements
    • Review, prepare and process partnership accounting, create partner capital statements, analyse financial statements, and waterfall calculations for both limited partners and general partners
    • Manage the partnership accounting including the calculation of management fees, commitment offset, Partner allocations
    • Validate the annual accounts with the auditors
    • Deliver ad hoc Investor reports
    • Prepare the fund flows for various operations (deal fundings, syndication, investor reallocations…)
    • Participate in the setup of new deals alongside the Investment Team and the legal advisers
    • Support the Investment Team in tailoring the cash flow forecasts and projected returns for portfolio sales
    • Work closely with Investment Team, IR, Compliance, Treasury, Legal, external auditors and Fund Administrators
    • Prepare the communication supports and investor deliverables : company level diversification, Management Reports
    • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Conduct proactive analysis of issues, diagnose problems, and think creatively to identify solutions and improvement initiatives

Profile

    • Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's in Accounting/Finance or related
    • 1-2+ years related Accounting experience in public accounting, fund administration, or direct fund
    • Working knowledge of Private Equity/Alternative fund structures - preferred
    • CPA qualified - highly preferred
    • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
    • Deliverable-focused and detail-oriented
    • Innovative and focused on driving efficiency
    • Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills
