PROJECT SCHEDULER

The Project Scheduler is responsible for developing, managing, updating, and oversight of all aspects of an assigned project schedule. The Project Scheduler works diligently to meet all project scheduling needs from planning, management, & analysis.

Qualifications:

Required:

* 4+ years of construction & scheduling experience in the commercial or industrial markets
* 2+ years proficient experience utilizing Oracle Primavera P6
* Proficient in Microsoft Project
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
* Proficient in CPM scheduling
* Ability to read & understand project documents including plans & specifications
* Knowledge of construction industry practices & standards
* Ability to identify and seek out information required
* Ability to work as part of a project team
* Strong verbal and written communication and leadership skills
* Strong work ethic with innovative and forward thinking
* Self-Starting and motivated

Preferred:

* Two or four-year degree in construction related field
* Related construction field experience in commercial or industrial market segments
* Related experience in technology products manufacturing market segments

Office and Travel:

* Travel or Relocation to Saint Louis, Missouri Project Site
* Periodic Travel to project sites

Responsibilities and Tasks:

* Participate in and support McGough's commitment to safety.
* Develop, manage, and implement the project schedule as designed and adjust as necessary.
* Proactively work with Project Management, Field Supervisory, and Client teams to identify and analyze potential risks and impacts to the project schedule.
* Participate in analysis and problem-solving exercises to address and ensure the project schedule remains accurate and reliable.
* Facilitate project specific scheduling meetings and ensure all revisions to the project schedule are captured and communicated as needed.
* Ensure all schedule documentation including files, reports, narratives, are updated, organized, and current.
* Work closely with Project Management and Field staff to forecast and provide objective schedule input.
* Support and follow McGough Standard Work.
* Prepare time impact analyses as required for the project.
* Participate in and support implementation of Lean and continuous improvement culture and methods.

Position involves sitting at times while working at a computer terminal. Employee must be able to communicate effectively in a typical office environment with a standard level of office noise. Standing, bending, walking and lifting is also required.

Employee will be required to work continuously on construction jobsites, which may expose the employee to dirt, dust, uneven surfaces, outdoor weather conditions and extreme temperatures. In addition, employee must be able to move around prospective or current project sites. This includes climbing ladders, walking on uneven surfaces, walking long distances, and climbing stairs.
