Job Overview:

Primoris Services Corporation is currently searching for Report Developer! This position has the opportunity to be fully remote or or located at any of our US offices. This position is responsible for working within the reporting environments throughout the organization – primarily Crystal Reports / MS SQL Management Studio and Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). The Report Developer/Writer will be tasked with developing custom reports, both simple and complex SQL queries (e.g., nested queries, sub-queries, outer joins, etc.,) stored procedures, views, etc. This position will work closely with users to analyze and understand their reporting needs to optimize the display and retrieval of data.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Gathering information to define scope of work and understand the wants and needs of users, by clarifying and documenting requirements.

  • Following company standards, processes, and procedures to create and maintain ad hoc reports based on data requests and evolving needs of users.

  • Produce both simple and complex queries, perform quality assurance and validation of data and interact with users to reconcile discrepancies.

  • Troubleshooting reports and company processes to resolve errors.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Crystal Reports.

  • Extensive experience with MS SQL Management Studio.

  • Ability to develop complex SQL queries, statements, stored procedures, views, and performance tuning of current objects.

  • Create, edit, and maintain SSRS reports (SQL Server Reporting Services).

  • Experience using Microsoft Suite including Excel Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, if statements, embedded queries, etc.

  • Wide knowledge in the reporting life cycle including planning, design, development, implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, support, and training.

  • Ability to prioritize work and complete assignments on time, maintain a positive attitude, and build and maintain effective business relationships with co-workers and users.

  • Well-developed communication, both written and organizational skills to relay results of data analysis and collection in written and verbal forms to users.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • General Construction/Accounting fundamental knowledge.

  • VISTA by Viewpoint knowledge.

  • Experience with SAP Business Objects.

  • pVault (Paperless Environments) knowledge.

  • Power BI experience.
