Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier construction contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of Low Voltage Estimator in St. Louis, MO.

 Low Voltage Estimator Compensation & Benefits

Total compensation for the Low Voltage Estimator in St. Louis, MO is between $70,000 and $100,000 depending on experience, and may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance.

Low Voltage Estimator Duties & Responsibilities

  • Must have experience with an electrical or technology contractor
  • Must be able to read blueprints, review bid documents and specifications for accuracy/discrepancies
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of Accubid (preferred) or other estimating software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented and organized
  • Must possess ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency

Low Voltage Estimator Qualifications

  • Great job history stability, no more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an electrical or low voltage estimator
  • Ability to read and understand construction blueprints, specs, and contract documents to fully understand scope of work, scheduling, and contract requirements
  • Successful experience with project budgets, forecasting project costs, change orders, billings, job costing, and more
  • Must be able to pass a background check
