As the VP, Marketing you will be in charge of all creative and operational duties in marketing including management of the marketing department.

Requirements

  • Marketing Strategy
  • Continually improve our go-to market strategy.
  • Fine-tune and evangelize our ideal customer profile internally and externally.
  • Significantly participate in the evolution of our brand vision, mission, and core values, i.e. our brand identity.
  • Develop key marketing goals by channel and within teams.
  • Marketing Execution
  • Hire new marketing team members.
  • Manage the existing team.
  • Oversee and participate in the direction of all owned, earned and paid media content assets.
  • Oversee and participate in all lead generation activities including search, social, native, partner, email and Company.com.
  • Work with the CRM manager to design the communication strategy for all prospect and customer cohorts.
  • Optimize marketing efficiency based on KPI reporting and sales trends.
  • Maintain constant personal thought leadership and marketing leadership through webinars, guest posts, etc.
  • Interdepartmental Support
  • Ensure the sales engineering, operations and AE teams are provided with materials and/or assets required to inform, educate and convert prospects to customers.
  • Ensure the Customer Success team is delivering customer stories, has the proper materials related to evangelizing new talent, new services and other customer opportunities.
  • Ensure the Talent Management team is supported to deliver messaging and creative to our talent network - assist in the acquisition and retention of our talent network.
  • Provide marketing support to the product team to enable product launch announcements, email drips and product nurturing, video training, etc.
  • Budgeting, Forecasting and Reporting
  • Work with finance and CEO to develop and maintain annual and quarterly marketing budgets.
  • Work with finance, CEO and sales leadership to forecast gross and net revenue.
  • Work with the marketing and finance to develop detailed KPI reporting by customer segment, channel and more.
  • Ensure KPI reporting is evangelized to relevant stakeholders and work with various teams to improve KPIs where appropriate.

Experience Required

  • 7+ years of digital marketing leadership and management experience
  • 5+ years of SEO, content marketing, paid media and CRM/nurture experience
  • Have worked in marketing agencies and product companies.
  • Software knowledge:
  • Microsoft Office: Word, PPT, Excel
  • Google Apps: Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Analytics
  • CRM - Salesforce or other (we use HubSpot and that’s preferred)
  • Marketing Automation - HubSpot or other
  • Project management software (Monday or other)
  • Communication software (Slack or other)
  • BI tools (Periscope Data or other)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Awareness of current and ongoing societal trends
  • Excellent organizational time management skills - balance multiple priorities and pay attention to small details.
  • A ‘Can do attitude’ and result oriented.
