The Digital Strategist will be responsible for reviewing our current capabilities and working with our business lines and functions to define new capabilities that are focused on our end-to-end business processes. Through a deep understanding of the strategy, this role will be tasked with analyzing the user experience data proposing digital strategies, and defining the roadmap for implementation.
Duties and Responsibilities
Establishes and implements strategies that have mid- to long-term impact on business results.
Conduct asset audits to map our global presence and assess the effectiveness of each asset.
Identify the unmet needs, goals, opportunities and challenges of all digital channels.
Define, track, and report key metrics, including voice of the customer to measure product effectiveness and drive improvement.
Identify opportunities to use digital technology to enhance our overall ability acquire, retain, and engage potential and current members.
Anticipate member’s needs based on research and member journey; distill pain points and bring the voice of the member back to respective teams.
Lead development of product roadmap; influences Agile teams and stakeholders to agree on goals, priorities and dependencies.
Perform research, analysis, and reporting in related areas, such digital trends, potential partnerships, and features.
Develops strategies for delivering our members needs and positioning our digital services as a solution.
Participate in new business activity often by providing digital intel on companies and markets.
Attends Credit Union and community events as appropriate during and outside of regular business hours. Represents the Credit Union at key sponsored events, often including speaking and public relations roles. Promotes awareness of the Credit Union mission to credit union membership and the community at large.
Maintains knowledge and understanding of current trends, laws, and issues affecting area of expertise. Attends educational events that will increase professional knowledge and be otherwise beneficial to the Credit Union. Completes annual BSA/AML Compliance Training and understands employee’s role in maintaining an effective BSA/AML compliance program, and completes FACT Act Red Flag training.
Minimum Education, Experience and Skill Requirements
3 - 5 years of experience with several shining examples of digital product strategy successes; a mix of early and mature stage products
Experience with financial industry consumer facing digital products and features a plus
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Highly analytical with the ability to use both qualitative insights and quantitative findings to deliver strategies
Experience working in an Agile environment
Proven success in leading medium to large scale transformation initiatives
Effective relationship builder with the ability to partner cross-functionally and work effectively with various levels of the organization
