The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for ensuring the accurate filling of canisters that are to be loaded into automated dispensing machines. This includes pulling the medication, filling the canisters, and checking the computer system to see which canister is the next to be filled all while working with the pharmacist to determine where to place canisters once they’re filled.
- Maintain canisters for dispensing units ensuring they are filled with correct products
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- Ability to obtain a Pharmacy Technician License (Kansas State and / or National Certification) within 90 days of employment
- Proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications including ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
- Ability to work 4:30 am - 3:00 pm Monday through Friday
- Pharmacy Technician license valid in the state of Kansas and / or National PTCB Certification
- Ability to stand for 40 hours / week
- Ability to lift 20 lbs.
