About This Job

The Commerce Healthcare RemitConnect® team is looking for an Enrollment Specialist who will be responsible for handling the daily operational duties of health plan and insurance payer remittance and payment enrollment activities. The Enrollment Specialist must be accountable for internal and client stakeholder updates to facilitate the enrollment processes for our existing client portfolio.

Essential Functions

  • Complete remittance and payment enrollments process with commercial and government health plans for existing clients

  • Monitor applications, requests, and follow-up as needed to complete enrollments within expected timeframes

  • Effectively communicate to clients and internal stakeholders:

    • Individual payer enrollment processes

    • Requests for additional information

    • Application statuses and updates

  • Maintain payer website and clearinghouse access credentials

  • Actively identify problems and opportunities for improvement, appropriate solutions, and involve necessary stakeholders

  • Support healthcare client and health plan requests via email and phone

  • Perform other duties as assigned 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Excellent attention to detail with organization and follow-up

  • Strong customer service and communication skills 

  • Basic knowledge of Salesforce or CRM solutions

  • Great critical thinking skills

  • Motivated and organized self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities 

  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook 

  • A team player with ability to work independently

  • Experience with providers in multiple states a plus

  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and core values 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required  

  • 2+ years customer service experience required

  • 1+ year healthcare insurance claims processing experience preferred
