Job Overview: This position reports to the Portfolio Manager, Dollar Bank Business Banking. The department is responsible for servicing the existing customers, and developing new business through direct calls, vendors, branches and repeat customers. This individual directs activities required to provide effective administrative support systems for the department. This individual works directly with the Portfolio Managers and Business Banking Representatives to accomplish their goals and department goals. Qualifications: • College degree or banking/administrative experience required. • Must be proficient in MS Word (candidate will be tested). • 1-2 years of experience with commercial loan documentation, banking and administration preferred. • Ability to prioritize; work under pressure and meet deadlines. • Willingness to learn credit approval and purchase process. • Ability to interact with all levels within the organization. • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. • Excellent organization skills; excellent proofreading skills; attention to detail. • Math/accounting aptitude preferred. • Knowledge of bank operations, procedures and products preferred. Principle Activities and Duties: • Process the credit application and tracking of same through credit and funding. This includes preparing requests for credit reports and ordering lien searches. • Prepare Standard loan/lease documents for review. • Review signed loan/lease documents for accuracy. • Prepare loan/lease worksheets for review by Underwriter. • Discount loan/lease, and prepare checks for signing or initiate wire transfers. • Assist Business Banking Representatives with daily appointment and travel schedules. • Manage effective interaction with Loan Operations and other bank departments. • Manage special projects. • Strengthen customer relationships through timely and efficient response to their needs. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Perform sedentary to light work (able to lift up to 20 pounds from floor to waist, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, grasp, or otherwise move objects). See, hear, talk and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity; sit, stand, walk, crouch, reach, pull, push and other similar, repetitive tasks requiring physical activity. Able to operate standard office/computer equipment such as photocopiers, fax machines, computers, iPads, scanners, calculators, etc. Note: Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
