Regional Sales Manager for a family owned company with a strong history and reputation in the industry
Family owned company that has been in business for over 100 years.
Accountability and ownership for the day-to -day management of the sales team for the entire market. Responsible for driving organic sales and margin initiatives as directed by Division and Market leaders.
Reports directly to the President
Provide superior training and development and hire top talent to improve the organization.
Monitor and drive the sales, profitability and working capital results of all sales team members and coach team to achieve set goals.
Drive continued development of key customers and target accounts with on-going growth to meet or exceed established expectations. Ensure we are delivering the maximum value for each customer.
Communicate and coordinate with internal staff (Purchasing, Customer Service, Warehousing, Accounting and Sales staff) to maximize customer satisfaction
Drive a strong customer service mentality and build deeper and wider relationships with current and prospective customers.
Develop sales margin budget by team member, holding each accountable for the same.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent amount of professional experience required
Minimum of 7+ years of sales management experience with a proven track record selling in competitive markets.
Success in selling an outsourcing program and experience working with food service distributors and multi-location chains is highly preferred
Demonstrated ability to understand market in which you are selling and the deployment of resources that ensure maximum coverage and product exposure
