Project Manager, Off-Site VMR

Summary of Position
The primary focus of this role is to support the merchandise department in the off-site visual presentation space with needs to set initiatives, programs, buy trips and presentation of the same by cross functional teams as well as senior management.

Responsibilities of Position
  • Responsible for assisting with the development of plans for assortment reviews, buy trips as well as new programs and initiatives.
  • Responsible for executing plans developed to include:
    o Securing and preparing space.
    o Receiving and staging samples.
    o Ensuring area is ready for review.
    o Gathering changes/updates to display guides or sales planner.
    o Disposition of Samples.
  • Responsible for overseeing merchandise and/or fixture transfers to and from the SSC and the DC.
  • Responsible for managing and directing the day to day priorities for the team assigned to assist/support the merchant needs.
  • Responsible with training/coaching and development of the team to ensure merchandise display standards & expectations are current & adhered to.
  • Responsible for communicating updated guidelines as well as shelf/basket/signing settings for current and new display guides to space planning.
  • Scheduling the use of flex space in the Visual Presentation Area.

    Experience, Education, Training, or Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or education and experience in merchandising and/or store operations.
  • Experience with management and leadership skills necessary to guide teams and individuals to meet established timelines.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Software primarily excel, word and power point.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to interact with all levels of management.
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented with strong attention to accuracy.
  • Ability to work in multi-task and fast-paced environment to include planning and managing multiple projects to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work well with others, yet independently & without close supervision.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with all levels of the merchandise department as well as cross functional teams across the company.
