OPERATIONS MANAGER - ONSITE

Location: Onsite in Canonsburg, PA

The A.C.Coy company has an immediate need for an Operations Manager. Ideal candidates must have 7+ years of experience managing a municipal wastewater, pumping station and sanitary sewer construction and maintenance working environment.

• Supervise, oversee and guide the activities of the field employees and wastewater operators to ensure they are following policies and goals in a timely and professional manner
• Conduct inspections of 3 wastewater treatment plants, 7 pump systems and a sanitary sewer collection and conveyance system
• Oversees the work of others contracted to work on plant components
• Complete daily operation logs and document any unusual operational situations and report to management with recommendations
• Oversees the preventative maintenance program of the plant
• Responsible for inventory of stored material and parts
• Assists with implementing and enforcing plant safety and risk management programs
• Assist in preparing monthly discharge monitoring reports, preparation of Annual Chapter 94 Wasteload Management reports, for submission to the PADEP and other agencies
• Oversees system wide operation/maintenance and troubleshooting problems
• Coordinate and recommend equipment repair or replacement such that plant effluent quality limits are maintained
• Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4pm (No weekends unless an emergency)
• Work truck, uniform provided (boot allowance)

Experience Required:

• Valid PA Drivers License
• Municipal wastewater, pumping station and sanitary sewer construction and maintenance experience and/or supervisory experience - 7+ years
• Read and interpret engineering specifications and drawings pertaining to plant expansions and improvements
• Perform, analyze and interpret laboratory tests for the purpose of making operational adjustments
• Plan and direct the work of subordinate employees
• Operate and maintain equipment used in the wastewater treatment process/recoginize needed repairs
• Valid Class C Sub Classification 1 License & Class E PADEP Wastewater Operator License - Preferred
• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug test
