Are you an experienced accountant looking for a role where you can make a difference? Our small-office client is looking to add an experienced professional with deep knowledge of Trust, Real Estate, and Investment accounting to be a key member of the team. What you need for this Trust Accountant role:

  • CPA or CPA Candidate preferred
  • Familiarity with The Trustees' Accounting Act
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to present directly to the leadership
  • 8+ years of experience preferred
  • Work Authorization: U.S. Citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor.
  • Work Location: All candidates must be located in the Greater Seattle area and able to perform job duties located in downtown Seattle.

What you'll be doing:

  • Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Manage/perform all GL and transactional accounting and reconciliations
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis for organizational leadership
  • Assist in weekly management reports
  • Assist with development of operating budgets, financial statement analysis & variance analysis
  • Recordkeeping of all the trust assets, liabilities, transactions with respect to those assets, and of all receipts and disbursements
  • Work closely with leadership to ensure full understanding of financial state of the organization, and all their various investments
  • Perform services such as bill paying, cash management, banking and wire transfers
