Job Description

The Operations SupportRepresentative will work closely with Patient Benefits Advisors to ensure thatsupport expectations are met each day. The Operations Support Rep. serves assupport for the Patient Benefits Advisor in the areas of correspondence management,call cycle, daily reports processing, data entry, pre-screening assessments,and clerical duties.  The Operations Support Rep. is responsible foraffecting ongoing quality, productivity, and efficiency by applying a proactiveapproach to all daily operational duties. 
Essential Duties andResponsibilities:
  • Process daily outgoing overnight/certified mail requests
  • Process daily incoming FedEx/GSO shipments
  • Post ER accounts in PME/H3
  • Upload daily insurance information onto OnBase
  • Create daily physical files requested
  • May Process medical record requests as needed
  • Track daily work results and monitor workload to ensure that operations needs are supported
  • Assist in performing daily tasks to support the staff and managers
  • Promote and maintain harmonious and effective relationships and communications with other departments and clients
  • Follows policies and procedures to contribute to the efficiency of the office
  • Covers and assists with other office functions as requested
  • Communicate issues and project status to management as needed
  • Other duties/projects as assigned by Supervisor

Job Requirements

Education, Training,Experience Required:
  • High school graduate.  Associates Degree preferred. 
  • Familiarity with computer and basic software including Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Basic knowledge of office equipment use and maintenance including network printer, copier, postage machine, fax machine, and telephone switchboard.
  • Knowledge of alpha/numeric filing systems required. 

Skills or Other Qualifications Required:
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Extreme attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong customer service skills required
  • General business office knowledge
  • Analytical ability a plus
  • Must be organized
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Meet multiple and competing deadlines
