Customer Service Representative - $14.00/hour

  • Comfortable working in a position that is in a call center environment and taking 50 to 70 inbound calls per day.
  • 3+ years in a customer service position, whether in a retail environment (Cashier, Sales Associate, etc.) or call center. Previous call center and/or healthcare experience not required.
  • Comfortable commuting Monday to Friday to work in-office. This position is located in Schaumburg, Illinois.
  • Proficient in navigating a computer and strong data entry skills. Candidates navigate between 3 separate computer systems and have 60 seconds to document the information from the call before the next call comes in.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Assist members in enrolling in plan/benefits; the majority of members will be retirees.
  • Candidate will be speaking to members in the form of phone calls, Instant Messages, and emails to help assist.
  • During the enrollment process/call, candidate will be required to document member information and navigate between 3 separate computer systems. Will have 60 seconds to document the information from the call before the next call comes in.
  • Will be responsible for assisting with 50 to 70 inbound calls per day.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years in a customer service position, whether in a retail environment (Cashier, Sales Associate, etc.) or call center. Previous call center and/or healthcare experience not required.

NOTE:

  • This position is set to be a contract position for 3+ months to help cover for high volume business needs of healthcare open enrollment season.
  • However, candidates who are meeting and/or exceeding performance and attendance will have the opportunity to transition to permanent employment.
