Job Description

We are hiring customer service agents for a utility billing company in the Portland area. In this position representatives will be responsible for providing support by answering the multi-location phone and documenting call volume along with call types. If you enjoy working with customers, troubleshooting, and working in a fast-paced environment - join the team.


Pay:
*$14 - 14.50/hour

Job Description:
* Answer inbound calls to assist customer start, stop, and move their services
* Provide billing support, change of address, and answer any other questions from utility company customers
* Correspond to customers via phone and email
* Data entry of valuations into company software


Qualifications
* High School Diploma/GED
* 1+ year of call center or high call volume
* 1+ year of working within an office setting

* Ability to own customer issues
* Utilize active listening skills to take control and resolve
* Adapt quickly to changing customer expectations and needs
* Self-starter who is comfortable taking the initiative
* Strong decision-making abilities
* Strong analytic skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to navigate multiple computer applications and work from a dual monitor setup
