Pre-Funding/Escrow Assistants - Immediate Need
Mortgage rates have dropped and we are experiencing rapid growth in our escrow department. We are seeking 3 Pre-Funding - Escrow Assistants to join our Major Title Insurance company. We need an ambitious and hardworking professional with a passion for the real estate and title industry. Number of Positions: 3
Pay: 17-18/hr. (negotiable based on experience)
Schedule: 8:30am to 5:30pm (Monday to Friday)
Saturday: Required to work one Saturday a month, most likely the last Saturday of the Month is Mandatory to work
Overtime: As needed
Provides centralized clerical processing of all documents connected with the initiation or closing of residential escrows, relieving branches of high-volume paperwork.
Communicates information and instructions to escrow branches.
Primary role is to image and save escrow-related documents to insure history is archived and that vital records are protected.
Ensures the imaging process meets quality control standards.
Depositing funds, reviewing material for accuracy.
Our ideal candidate will have the following profile:
Demonstrates excellence in written and verbal communication and customer service
Able to meet/exceed a set daily quota of files completed
Ability to handle a large workload and multi-task while adjusting to changes in workflow
Experience with title documents and knowing what is recordable and not recordable
Capable to perform independently with little to no supervision but also a team player
Proficient at multi-tasking and strong organizational skills
Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
Willing to be logged into a Phone Queue
Experience in Microsoft Office Programs
Knowledge of County Document Recording a plus!
Knowledge or strong analytical skill set to determine all state, county and city guidelines for recording requirements, mortgage tax calculations and all tax forms
1-2 years’ experience in the mortgage or title realm
