Position Overview

The HLI MRO Corporate Account Manager is responsible for growing sales and developing and maintaining strong business relationships with MRO Internet and Catalog account managers, distributors, with their end users in the various MRO vertical markets.  Meeting company sales goals while ensuring customer needs are fulfilled is crucial to maximizing success and compensation

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining strong business relationships with MRO Distributors and end users
  • Serves the individual Hubbell Lighting brands as a coordinator between the HLI Brands and the appropriate sales personnel
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with HLI sales agents, keeping them involved as necessary in the sales process
  • Develop sales and marketing strategies for their geographical or market area
  • Responsibility for achieving or exceeding the sales penetration goals assigned individually by the brands and collectively by the Company
  • Contribute to overall MRO Account sales and marketing strategies
  • Submit timely monthly operation report to Director of Corporate Accounts, and other personnel as directed
  • Manage travel and entertainment budgets
  • Maintain satisfactory call frequencies with all customer responsibilities as assigned
  • Maintain a robust pipeline

Skills and Experience

  • BS/BA in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or other related discipline
  • A minimum of 4 years in industry sales experience, NA sales or lighting sales with demonstrated order close rate success
  • Sales and/or sales management experience in C&I Lighting industry and/or C&I Electrical with significant shelf presence
  • Comprehensive knowledge of sales / sales processes
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Solid presentation skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Good relationships at the end user level 

Education

Bachelors Degree in Business

Associates Degree in General Studies
