Industrial Services Company is looking for:
POSITION: Transportation Supervisor
LOCATION: Middletown DE 19709
SALARY: 62-72K + 30% Bonus
EXPERIENCE: 1-2+ Years Driver/Truck Operations Supervision and Route Management
RELOCATION: Assistance Available
Supervises, coordinates and controls the daily collection activities of multiple routes in the line of business. Communicates critical information to drivers in the field to provide them with direction regarding daily assignments and adjustments to daily schedule. Provides necessary information to management to schedule appropriate deployment of manpower and equipment needs.
Prepare, update and assign daily route schedules.
Design, establish and document efficient measurable routes for the company’s service operations.
Daily check in of driver personnel to assure paperwork is complete and accurate for the day’s activity.
Process paperwork including but not limited to maintaining driver activities in computer systems, activity reports/trip documents, driver logs, fuel tickets and other required paperwork.
Reassigns work as necessary on an ongoing basis to maximize efficiency of routes.
Acts as communication liaison between drivers and road service and or emergency personnel if the need arises.
Conducts route observations to ensure adherence to company standards of safety and operation.
Responsible for resolution of customer complaints and timely recovery of missed pickups.
Minimum of 1-2 years supervisory experience.
High School Diploma is a requirement and some college is preferred.
Knowledge of DOT regulations.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in the English Language, both verbally and in writing.
Experience in using multiple software packages including the Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent time management and map reading skills.
It is a plus if the candidate has a CDL but not required
