Classification: Software Engineer
Compensation: $35.63 to $41.25 hourly
Robert Half Technology is looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer with a proven knowledge of design patterns and Software Engineering techniques. As a part of an industrious and deeply passionate team, you will play a pivotal role as the Software Engineer in developing new platforms and maintaining existing systems. A long-term temporary role, this Software Engineer opportunity will be located in the Hebron, Kentucky area. Please contact Chuck Wirtz for consideration.

- Produce high quality production-ready code in an agile environment
- Advocate top programming practices and standards
- Improve solutions which account for scalability and optimize performance
- Collaborate closely with the product team to build new features and infrastructure
- Assess new technologies and develop prototypes for steady improvements
- Plan and apply back end and front end components and services
- Solid grasp of relational database management systems
- Background working with web application frameworks
- Strong familiarity with the planning, launching, and refactoring phases of code
- Visual Basic .Net (VB.NET) experience
- Adeptness in LabView
- Strong familiarity with .NET Framework
- Command of C#
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Object oriented programming experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of SAP
- Prior experience integrating with API backends
