IT Systems Administrator

Advertising Checking Bureau Memphis, TN (Onsite) Full-Time

Primary Purpose: Join us as an IT Systems Administrator and play a key role in evolving our network, infrastructure, and applications to support ACB's mission. In this hands-on role, you'll work closely with our Operations Team, solving challenges side-by-side and shaping best practices that drive strategic initiatives forward. Your work will make a direct impact across ACB, fostering a robust, resilient, and efficient tech environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Spearhead the provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate across teams to meet and exceed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operating Level Agreements (OLAs).
  • Be a champion of industry best practices in system administration, bringing new ideas to keep our infrastructure up to date
  • Build trusted partnerships with stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and collaboration.
  • Engage in research and development, supporting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Oversee and optimize systems aiming for consistent uptime.
  • Lead the charge on network SAN and NAS storage systems management.
  • Manage robust backup strategies, ensuring 100% data recovery capability in any situation.
  • Partner with our security team to protect our systems and data.
  • Mentor and inspire the IT support team, sharing your expertise to uplift the entire department.
  • Implement and analyze patches for seamless impact on production, following best change management practices.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: At least 5 years as a systems administrator, with hands-on expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, IIS, SQL, DRaaS, Veeam, VMware, firewalls, networking, and video conferencing technologies.

Key Skills & Abilities:

  • Advanced knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and DNS.
  • Proficiency in networking, DRaaS, Veeam, VMware, and SQL Server administration.
  • Competency with scripting and familiarity with APIs
  • Strong communicator who simplifies technical details and is a natural team player.
  • Leadership skills with an ability to mentor others, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
  • Business-minded approach to driving tech solutions with measurable impact.
  • Flexibility to handle off-hours maintenance ensuring smooth operations.
