The Finance and Treasury Organization at MPC is a diverse team that supports various functions throughout the enterprise. As a financial analyst you will analyze financial documents to help make important decisions that impact MPC's future which could include any of the following:
- Performing industry research and generating reports for management
- Preparing, presenting, and representing analysis in front of senior management.
- Allocating credit to MPC’s customers which includes analyzing balance sheets and financial statements.
- Execute necessary Capital Markets and Cash & Banking activities to facilitate business needs.
- Provide financial analysis and consultation to MPC's business units regarding major capital investments and evaluating leasing opportunities.
Education & Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Engineering with related experience or MBA.
Previous experience in the Refining, Marketing and/or Midstream Industry with a focus on the following areas would be beneficial:
- Treasury Operations
- Corporate Finance & Short-Term Investments
- Investment Analysis
- Commercial Credit
Computer Proficiencies: Experience with Excel spreadsheet applications and familiarity with Word and PowerPoint.

- Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills
- Business Partner
- Business Acumen
