Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer 2 to define, run and maintain clusters and disciplined processes for system/security/users/compliance. The candidate will manage the Cooperative Analysis Model (CAM) infrastructure including system administration, DevOps and security. The candidate will also possess Leadership qualities to guide existing System Administrators/DevOps team members. The candidate will have familiarity of Jira from a Kanban perspective, ateam collaboration in an Agile environment and the ability to work independently as a self starter. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: * Cloud Systems Administrator Developer Certification
* A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in a related technical field is highly desired which will be considered equivalent to two (2) years of experience
* Eleven (11) years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution
* Seven (7) years experience in system engineering/architecture
* Seven (7) years experience working with products that support highly distributed, massively parallel computation needs such as Hbase, Hadoop, Acumulo, Big Table, Cassandra, Scality et cetera
* Seven (7) years experience writing software scripts using scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or Ruby for software automation
* At least three (3) years of experience managing and monitoring large Cloud System
* Experience in performing and providing technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complete hardware/software systems to include monitoring technical health of a system, improving organizational processes, implementation of postmortem (failure) analysis and incident management
* Active TS/SCI security clearance with current polygraph required
