Personal Injury Attorney

Our client, a trusted personal injury law firm, has an immediate need for an experienced Personal Injury Attorney, to join their winning team in East Orange.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of experience required.
• On-site position, no hybrid schedule.
• Attorneys will make 33% commission on all cases they bring in.
• Open to candidates with either plaintiff or defense experience.
• Caseload is 125-150 cases.
• Manage all phases of plaintiff personal injury litigation, from case inception to resolution.
• Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court team members.
• Manage case files and maintain organized documentation.
• Schedule depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
• Assist in trial preparation, including witness coordination and exhibit preparation.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies on behalf of clients.
• Take depositions and original motion hearings.
• Prepare arbitration statements and trial information statements.
• Ability to trial cases and interact with clients.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work well under tight deadlines and pressure.
• Must have a Juris Doctorate or equivalent and be licensed in New Jersey.
• Exhibit strong written and oral communication skills.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
