The Human Resources Specialist, under the direction of the HRIS Manager, performs daily HR duties which include oversight of the new hire, onboarding, timekeeping, and termination processes. The Human Resources Specialist also ensures data is entered and updated into the HRMS accurately and in a timely manner.



  • Distribute, track, and file digital orientation packets to new hires. Perform related Human Resources functions as assigned.
  • Enter employee change data into the company HRMS system that is received through the PAF process in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, transfers and promotions.
  • Process the integration files for demographic data between the company HRMS and the time and attendance system. Audit data to ensure that information comes into the system accurately.
  • Verify that supervisors have approved attendance/hours worked, and post information onto designated records in a timely manner prior to the payroll approval deadline.
  • Perform best practice analysis to identify and resolve timekeeping issues.
  • Identify opportunities for improving the effectiveness of HR processes. Create processes and provide training and education on HR processes.
  • Interpret and explain human resources polies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.
  • Audit and maintain accurate and organized digital employee files following a standard operating procedure.
  • Audit and maintain employee access cards for the corporate building.
  • Assist HRIS Manager with special projects, and manage special projects as assigned.
  • Respond to inquiries from managers, employees, and outside sources as appropriate within one business day of the request or sooner based on the urgency of the request.
  • Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the industry's best security practices and regulatory guidelines to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected health information and other sensitive company data.
  • Must be familiar with and abide by the Corporate Compliance Program and all corporate policies, including the Privacy and Security policies.


  • Work with other departments within PathGroup and subsidiaries.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.


  • Two or more years of prior job-related experience preferred.
  • ADP Workforce Now experience preferred.
  • ADP Enhanced Time and/or Kronos time and attendance experience preferred.
  • Must be able to adjust and adapt in a fast paced environment.
