Managing Senior Product Manager - Training & Communications

Overview This position leads strategic planning for the accelerated profitability and growth of business products. Oversees a team of associates who manage innovative and profitable products based on client engagement, quantitative analysis, and market trends. Coordinates all functions of product development from conception to implementation. Implements competitive enhancements that increase product profitability and appeal. Monitors client experience and team compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, or standards. Responsibilities Product Oversight - Oversees the development and management of products with a coordinated strategy. Collaborates with both internal and external parties to implement enhancements and monitor workflow. Develops and implements process enhancements as necessary to improve efficiencies. Handles complex and escalated product issues. Development - Facilitates all stages of business product development. Focuses on increasing growth and profitability for existing products, as well as creating new products with a substantial market impact. This includes but is not limited to product planning and design, compiling resources, execution, and monitoring product launch. Tracks and reports progress to appropriate parties. Market Analysis - Maintains a strong current knowledge of market changes in order to communicate changes to staff and adjust business strategies. Leads the analysis of trends including changing regulations, competitor options, and evolving client needs. Implements changes based on analysis results to increase profitability and product appeal. May attend industry conferences or participate in sales activities to gauge market trends. Managerial Functions - Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve company and department goals. Makes appropriate changes to team policies, procedures, and efficiencies in order to meet objectives. Manages the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff. Client Engagement - Manages client experience through all stages of a product. Develops and leads strategies to ensure client satisfaction and acquisition. Provides expert guidance to associates on client engagement methods and techniques. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Product Management within Financial Services and people management OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Product Management within Financial Services and people management
