Position Details:
Oversee seamless execution of the semiannual sales goal setting process for the North American Sales Service organization. High degree of financial knowledge and analytical skills are important to the successful execution in this role. You will coordinate all main timeline activities, partner management, education and communication across different leadership levels with a focus on continuous improvement for 3,000+ plus team members.

Position Details:
Oversee seamless execution of the semiannual sales goal setting process for the North American Sales Service organization. High degree of financial knowledge and analytical skills are important to the successful execution in this role. You will coordinate all main timeline activities, partner management, education and communication across different leadership levels with a focus on continuous improvement for 3,000+ plus team members.
You Will:
- Lead resource and subject matter expert (SME) for the sales goal setting process
- Analyze and report on goals to guide decisions on goal setting strategy
- Improve projects to increase quality, productivity and effectiveness of our goal setting processes
- Lead special projects to support Grainger's sales incentive and goal setting strategy
- Develop training on goal setting processes. Heavy focus on supporting sales leaders with principles of forecasting, goal setting and goal delivery.
- Evaluate requests for goal adjustments, ensuring that the integrity of a fair compensation plan is kept.
- Help with analysis and modeling for incentive plan changes
You Have:
- BA or degree or experience in sales, operations or finance
- Design, implement, and operate programs to achieve desired goals
- Problem solving and continuous improvement methodologies
- Learn about new technologies and different areas of the business
- Excellent communication with Senior Management
- Analytical experience working with high volumes of data
- Strong relationships with partners including HR/Payroll, Finance, Sales Operations, and Grainger Technology Group.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and and influence decision making
- Team-oriented and customer-focused
- Advanced Excel skills (can maintain complex spreadsheets).
- Knowledge of SAP and Vistex.
