We are looking for a highly motivated VP of Revenue to help Company drive to our next phase of growth.  This new, but critical role, will join our leadership team and work directly with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Customer Success to define and optimize our processes and systems that enable the business to achieve its revenue growth objectives.  The VP of Revenue’s contributions will be key to maximizing our revenue opportunities by driving initiatives that support and enable our expansion, like: GTM strategy development and execution, sales and marketing enablement, key partnership management, and value-added analytics.    

This is an opportunity for a seasoned executive to make a big impact!  Our ideal candidate loves data and is not afraid to dig into the details as this job requires both critical thinking and a strong business analytics skill set.  They will have a collaborative approach and be able to lead cross-functionally because this position will touch every department in the organization.  We are also looking for experience implementing various marketing, sales, product, and customer success tools and have a vision for how the entire revenue tool stack should be structured.  Ultimately we need someone who is results oriented and can provide creative ideas and solutions around revenue growth.

Responsibilities / Principal Functions of the Job:

  • Drive solutions with all teams to optimize the company’s existing revenue streams, generate new revenue streams and improve customer retention, to include product launches
  • Responsible for operationalizing and optimizing the end-to-end revenue model of the organization, creating alignment across Marketing, Product, Sales, and Customer Success and getting them to work cohesively to maximize revenue
  • Continuously increase the velocity of all revenue-related activities, resources, and processes; holding teams accountable to the overall revenue model and forecasts
  • Proactively identify areas of inefficiency, lost opportunity, and excessive costs across the customer lifecycle and implement scalable solutions to address these issues
  • Develop, own, and continuously iterate on data sets, reports, and insights that drive strategic decision making across the organization
  • Establish robust forecasting processes and reports that become the anchor of effective planning discussions across the organization
  • As part of the leadership team, participate in key discussions that help shape the overall strategy and direction of the company
  • Grow, manage, and mentor a world-class Revenue Operations team
  • Uphold Company’s core mission, vision, and values

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree required, Graduate degree strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated professional and academic success (e.g. consistently received top evaluations at prior job)
  • 10+ years of business and progressive leadership experience, including at least 2 of those years in a senior level leadership role with experience implementing and leading revenue operations
  • Experience in scaling and growing revenue in organizations, ideally 10M-100M
  • Able to develop advanced analysis and derive actionable insights to complex business problems
  • Proven track record of driving measurable efficiency gains, cost reductions, and revenue optimization across all areas of the organization
  • Deep understanding of sales, marketing, and customer success processes and metrics in a SaaS business
  • Able to effectively drive multiple projects to successful completion at the same time
  • Results and detail oriented
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to work with and be persuasive to all audiences
  • SaaS and/or Payments experience highly favorable

  • Our office is located in downtown Des Moines, but we are currently in a work from home state through the remainder of 2020 due to COVID19.
