DocAssist medical scribes experience firsthand the interaction between providers and patients. They observe the entire process including history and physical, diagnostic interpretation, and disposition. DocAssist allows scribes to fully immerse themselves in the medical field unlike most other jobs.

POSITION SUMMARYThe medical scribe's role is to accompany the healthcare providers and document the entire provider-patient interaction including, but not limited to, history, physical exam, diagnostic interpretation, and disposition in the electronic medical record. A medical scribe helps maximizes the provider's time spent with patients, as well as, overal departmental efficiency by lessening the load of clerical work. A medical scribe also coordinates with departmental resources regarding ordres, tests, and results. Looking for candidates who are self-motivated, proactive, dependable, have a passion for medicine, great interpresonal skills and are able to multi-task. This position is not an internship.ESSENTIAL DUTIES: *
