IT Help Desk Lead (44567)

Human-I-T Bell, CA Full-Time
The IT Help Desk Lead provides computer support and security administration for Human-I-T employees and recipients. Manages all employee hardware, workplace software including Google Workspace, Slack, Asana, Hubspot, JumpCloud, Okta, and more. Also assists in solving problems and issues as they arise, communicates with internal customers, responds to ticket requests, and tracks performance metrics for the team. Coordinates between the company and external vendors and contractors about IT-related infrastructure and development. Assists IT leadership in executing various department functions for any issues that might arise and advise about potential fixes or efficiency controls.

You will ensure that the work of the department is done efficiently, effectively, and meets the goals and objectives set forth for your area. The Human-I-T warehouse is NAID AAA-certified for data security, so all employees must pass a third-party background check and drug screen as a condition of employment. This position reports directly to the Senior VP for IT within the IT department.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES:

* Assess infrastructure on a regular basis to ensure it continues to meet necessary demands
* Perform daily operations of the IT department
* Develop new strategies and IT procedures to increase efficiency, enhance workflow and improve customer satisfaction
* Coordinate the needs of in-house IT experts and remote employees, vendors and contractors
* Protect customer data from outside infiltration through following appropriate security measures
* Assist with the installation and updates of new hardware and software and help train employees on its use
* Offer suggestions for possible upgrades and changes within the IT department
* Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems
* Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs

Education:

* B.S. in Computer Science, Information Science, or related field

Experience:

* 3-5 years of IT experience in a similar role preferred

Skills:

* Excellent IT diagnostic and trouble-shooting abilities
* Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing
* Excellent leadership and time management skills
* Ability to fill multiple roles simultaneously
* Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy
* Ability to effectively train and provide direction to others
* Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with other
