To Apply for this Job Click HereESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESMonthly/Year-End Close:* Manage the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.* Oversee the preparation and review of journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations.Financial Reporting:* Conduct thorough balance sheet reviews to maintain clean and accurate financial records.* Provide narratives and presentations for the finance committee, explaining financial performance and variances.* Prepare and review payroll reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.Budgeting:* Lead the budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop and manage the annual budget.Tax Compliance:* Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including preparing and filing Form 990 and 990-T.* Handle sales tax and group exemption filings as needed.Audit and Compliance:* Maintain a clean balance sheet and ensure readiness for annual audits.* Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.Leadership and Mentorship:* Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.* Provide technical guidance and support to team members, ensuring continuous improvement and development.Project Management:* Manage RFP processes for banking, investments, and new financial software systems.* Oversee the selection and implementation of new software, ensuring seamless integration and improved efficiency.QUALIFICATIONS* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.* Active CPA license required.* Minimum of 5 years of experience* Strong technical acumen and understanding of GAAP.* Experience with nonprofit accounting, including 501(c)(3) organizations and endowments.* Excellent audit experience.* Strong leadership, mentoring, and teamwork skills.* Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Excellent communication and presentation skills.* Proficiency with financial software; experience with MIP is a plus.F1175324-PT_1731000404To Apply for this Job Click Here
