Oklahoma City, OK Manufacturing operation seeking experienced Human Resource professional with practical payroll experience for Job opportunity. This HR candidate will support all HR functions for the local plant as well as some other remote locations that could require occasional travel. Specific tasks include recruitment and hiring of personnel, coordination of all new hire paperwork, ensuring compliance with state and local laws, administrating benefits enrollment including annual benefit open enrollment process for all employees. Other areas include responding to unemployment, worker's compensation and other inquiries related to current or prior employees. This Human Resource professional will also perform payroll function to coordinate with outside payroll provider.
Requirements for Human Resource job include:
- 4 year degree required
- HR Degree highly desired
- PHR certification a major plus
- Ability to stay abreast of current HR issues and ensure compliance with company policies & procedures
- Minimum of 5 years experience
- Experience supporting HR function for mid-size organization
- Must have payroll experience
- Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and projects
- Job will require some travel
