IQVIA is seeking a qualified Web Application Developer willing to learn how to develop applications for the ServiceNow platform. the selected candidate will participate in a DevOps team, developing, supporting, and customizing applications and business processes for ServiceNow. ServiceNow is a Web-based SaaS application and platform that can be customized and extended through a combination of configuration changes and code, primarily JavaScript that calls ServiceNow APIs. Candidate will receive training and mentorship in ServiceNow but should be able to deliver extensive development expertise as it relates to web-development. Common efforts include developing new workflows and service catalog items, customizing ITSM processes, extending and refining the configuration management database (CMDB), implementing new ServiceNow modules, and integrating ServiceNow with other IT systems, primarily through RESTful interface, and mobile application development.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent degree with a focus on application/web development
  • Demonstrable front-end web development experience
  • Proven, thorough knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, cross-browser compatibility issues, Adobe Photoshop, CSS grids & frameworks
  • Expert knowledge of XML, SQL, REST API, relational database principles,
  • Expert knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery and AngularJS.
  • Expert in Responsive Web Design and mobile application experience: HTML5 or native
  • Experience building front-end components optimized for speed and cross-browser compatibility
  • Knowledge of modern Object-Oriented JavaScript programming patterns, such as client-side MVC, JSONP, and event-driven programming
  • Experience with client server web application development

What We Would Love to See:

  • 3-5 years software development experience
  • Proven examples of innovative solutions development
  • Experience with ITIL and ITSM
  • Experience in emerging ServiceNow Web technologies (Angular, Highcharts)
  • Experience with the ServiceNow enterprise platform
