The position requires an individual who has significant global employee relations experience, deep subject matter expertise, and strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Description

  • The Employee Relations leader will be dedicated to advising and coaching managers and employees on all aspects of the employment relationship
  • Working with managers and employees to prevent, advise and resolve challenging and complex workplace situations, and will work to protect, support, and enhance company culture in accordance with firm policies, business principles, and applicable legal standards
  • Act as a strategic partner to the leadership team to define, develop, communicate and execute the employee relations framework and strategy, driving a high performance culture, attracting and rewarding top talent
  • Responsible for managing the processes for internal allegations, claims, and employee relations investigations by improving framework tools and guides
  • Collaborate with HR Business Leaders and employment counsel on crucial employee relations matters
  • Give trend data and feedback to legal, HR teams, and principals to reduce risk in the organization
  • Provide advice directly to managers in a dynamic environment, regarding all aspects of the employment relationship, including manager effectiveness, performance management, disputes and organizational changes

Profile

  • Highly motivated HR professional with a solid understanding of employment issues
  • 15+ years of progressive HR/employee relations/compliance experience with an emphasis on investigations with a minimum of 5+ years leading an ER team
  • Managing complex issues, identifying potential risk and driving resolution
  • Developing and building effective relationships at all levels to advise and influence effectively
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Bringing groups with diverse views/priorities to a common resolution through use of strong negotiation and facilitation skills
  • Listening actively and thinking creatively to deliver commercially pragmatic solutions and resolve conflicts
  • Ability to demonstrate approach-ability and empathy so that employees are comfortable raising concerns
  • Must have global employee relations experience
