Job Summary : A Cash Applications Representative is responsible for posting payments and adjustments for insurances and patients, analyzing insurance explanation of benefits and patient checks, processing credit card and electronic check transactions, obtaining the necessary documentation required for posting, and researching and resolving unapplied cash.
Pay offered for Cash Applications Representative: $16.00/hr + Full Benefits, PTO, and Weekly Pay
Schedule: M - F, flex start (7:00 AM - 8:30 AM), 8 hour day, no weekends
Job Requirements of Cash Applications Representative
1 year of healthcare related cash posting, billing, or data entry experience in a professional or educational setting or banking or accounting data entry experience.
- 2 years of cash posting experience for pharmacy, medical, dental or vision receivables.
- Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement
- Explanation of benefit experience
- Alpha and numeric keyboard proficiency
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Exceptional analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
