We cultivate an environment where we can all learn and grow.Read about engineering at SoundCloud.Key Responsibilities: Grow the ecosystem that ensures artists and labels are paid royalties, their releases are placed in the charts, and they receive insight into their performance on the platformWork closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including product leadership, music industry experts and several engineering teamsApply best engineering practices to build resilient data pipelines that deliver high-quality data using BigQuery, Airflow, and TerraformLearn what our deals with labels, publishers, and independent creators look like and how money flows through the systemsRepresenting the team to the wider organization and communicating our data and tooling needs that would keep our systems lean and maintainableExperience & Background: 7+ years of experience working with high-traffic productsDrive projects from inception to completion with a strong sense of ownershipCollaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutionsDesign, develop, and maintain high-performance GraphQL services using TypeScript and NodeJSExperience deploying and managing services in a cloud environment, preferably AWSExperience building production services in a JVM language (Java/Kotlin/Scala) is a plusTypescript / Javascript Experience with Go, Java, and Spring are a plusGraphQLTerraformExperience working with messaging products: Kafka, Kinesis, SQSExperience working with various databases: DynamoDB, BigTable, MySQL, Redis, MongoDBAWS / GCPThe salary range for this role is $150,000-165,000 annually
The final salary offered will be determined based on relative experience, skills, internal equity, and location
