Description Do you have an interest in developing software that integrates multiple disciplines to enable something greater than the sum of its parts? Are you passionate about creating new concepts and making new capabilities a reality? As a Software Engineer, you will... * Develop concepts, algorithms, and software prototypes to help warfighters better employ the expanding set of complex capabilities and systems at their disposal.
* Integrate capabilities in novel, unconventional ways. Qualifications You meet the minimum qualifications for this position if you... * Possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or another related field.
* Have at least five years of relevant experience in complex software development and significant knowledge of C++ and/or JavaScript/TypeScript in a Linux environment.
* Are highly creative and interested in novel challenges and are a self-starter able to work effectively in a demanding, multi-tasking environment.
* Have excellent technical writing and communication skills.
* Are able to work collaboratively in a close team environment.
* Have experience working in an Agile development framework.
* Are able to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance by your start date and can ultimately obtain a Secret level clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.
* Can demonstrate that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. * Have at least ten years of experience with complex software development.
* Have an interest in learning about or experience working with Link-16 and/or other tactical data links.
* Have an interest in learning about or experience working with signals intelligence, passive or bistatic radar technologies, or sensor data fusion.
* Have game development experience.
* Have a strong ability to successfully apply educational background to real-world engineering problems.
* Have interest and initiative to grow into a leadership position.
* Are experienced in serving as a Scrum master or equivalent Agile development leadership role.
