To gain exposure to all aspects of the Sales Representative position
Assist sales partners in project management and lead efforts in executing clinical trials and product conversions.
Manage current relationships and maintain service with assigned accounts.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure project implementation and completion while gaining hands-on exposure to all aspects of the Sales Representative position.
Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers by addressing customer questions/concerns and visiting current accounts.
Partner with Sales/Account staff on potential new business opportunities.
Present new products and initiatives.
Analyze and provide insight to accounts focusing on improved adherence and cost savings opportunities.
Conduct quarterly business reviews and/or deliver on special projects.
Apply strong knowledge of Medline’s product catalog and numerous value-added programs and services.
Educate customers on current industry trends and regulations.
Monitor project progress; communicate project status to sales teams, product teams and customers. Ensure follow up and resolution of issues is completed on a timely basis.
Collaborate and build effective relationships within assigned accounts as well as with internal partners (Field Sales Reps, Management, and Product divisions).
EDUCATION & RELEVANT SKILLS
Computer proficiency especially in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Experience developing presentations for various audience levels.
Position requires travel up to 80% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Desire to eventually move into a sales position is a plus.
