Adecco Search is actively recruiting for a Customer Service Manager in the Rochester, New York area.  Our client, a highly established, family owned manufacturing company is growing.  The Customer Service Manager will report directly to the Regional  VP of Sales.  This is a Direct Hire Job that will offer a very generous base salary, bonus, benefits and a 401K.  The Customer Service Manager will be responsible for the Lake Ontario Area.  The primary function of the Customer Service Manager is to assist in the overall sales performance and growth goals while delivering excellent customer service. Essential duties for the Customer Service Manager are the following:
  • Responsible for the overall performance of the Customer Service department in the Region. Allocates to the workload of the Customer Service team. 
  • Responsible for the training and development of the team and holds department members accountable for their performance.
  • Works professionally with Customers, Sales, Design, Scheduling, Production and Logistics to improve processes and resolve issues.
  • Provides prompt responses and follow up to customer inquiries for pricing, delivery, and complaints as necessary. Resolves issues in a professional manner.
  • Adhere to and maintain all ISO 9001 procedures and requirements of the Sales and Design department functions.
  • Essentials Requirements for the Customer Service Manager are the following:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business.
  • 5-8 years of previous Customer Service Management experience in a MANUFACTURING SETTING.
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Strong Technical Skills
  • Ability to manage and grow a team
