View is looking for a smart, motivated, and highly-organized Product Marketing Manager to join our fast-growing product marketing team. The candidate will play a crucial and high-visibility role in developing quantitative and qualitative materials that enable our sales team. The role requires a person with stellar storytelling skills who is customer centric and technically-oriented. Reporting to the Senior product marketing manager, this position will be based on Milpitas, CA in our Headquarters.
The ideal candidate for this position should have an MBA and at least 4 years of prior work experience, preferably for a technology company. The candidate should have a love of the technology industry and can articulate technical concepts into compelling narratives. The candidate should also have demonstrable leadership skills to juggle a wide variety of tasks and work cross-functionally with different groups.
ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop clear and differentiated messages and customer-ready materials to help sales
Improve ROI, technical analysis and reporting techniques
Assess product strengths and propose ways of positioning key differentiators to customers
Quickly become a product expert and provide on-going sales support
Work closely and collaboratively with the technical team on publishing thought leadership materials
Lead and help with product and service launches and product positioning/messaging
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Technical undergraduate degree; MBA from a top tier university a must
5-7 years of total work experience, prefer 1-2 years of experience after MBA; prior experience in an analytical role highly preferred
Comfortable with high volume, quick turnaround deadlines
Be able to complete and improve complex technical analysis to improve sales enablement efficiency
Strong writing skills, with an emphasis on telling a clear story
Strong presentation and public speaking skills to support sales teams
Background in architecture, construction or real estate industries is a plus
