The Fun Description

SUMMARY
Provides key support to HRIS function, answers requests from end users, generates routine and ad hoc HR reports and compliance audits, assists with HRIS set up and testing in all HRIS systems, and provides administrative support to HRIS function.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Generates routine and ad hoc HR reporting. Reports will be generated from the ERP, TMS, and other HRIS systems.
Conducts regular systems and compliance audits. Supports fulfillment of discovery and data requests from other segments of the HR department.
Provides front-line support to end users for all HRIS systems. Troubleshoots basic issues and escalates more complex issues as appropriate.
Monitors vendor file processes. Manages errors, coordinates with vendors to troubleshoot and research, and audits Dave & Buster's and vendor systems for accuracy.
Participates in systems implementations and upgrades, under the direction of the HRIS Analyst.
Conducts thorough testing of HRIS systems. Includes creation of test scripts and/or following others' test scripts, documenting testing results, and working with HRIS Analyst to resolve issues.
Assists with documents of current Total Rewards processes.
Monitors System Maintenance Schedules and Upgrades. Performs testing for automatic system upgrades
Partners with Operations to provide training and support for all HR systems and payroll systems.
Partners with other HRIS and compensation functions to analyze proposed and/or enacted regulatory changes (i.e. minimum wage increases, change in benefits laws) to implement appropriate systems configurations in order to ensure compliance. Monitors setup on an ongoing basis.
Other projects and duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree or equivalent; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.
Workday and Kronos (Time and Attendance) systems experience preferred.
Position also requires exceptional attention to detail, solid organizational skills, ability to communicate clearly and concisely, outstanding guest focus, and strong analytical ability.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
