MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Diagnoses, rebuilds and repairs vehicles and equipment to include maintaining and repairing
equipment and tools.
Orders replacement parts and cleans and lubricates parts. Requisitions new parts and equipment.
Performs inspections and preventive maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
Prepares and maintains records and reports.
Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

Responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting CSGs Critical Success Factors, 1) Safety First! 2) Financial Success (including operational excellence); 3) Employee Satisfaction (including development and training), and 4) Customer Satisfaction. Promote WSEs Core Values, safety culture and Continuous Process Improvement (CPI).
Educational and experience requirements include: Two years experience in maintenance and repair of trucks and/or heavy equipment or education in diesel technology or related field or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
Knowledge of safety practices and procedures. Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Considerable knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in vehicle and equipment
repair and maintenance. Familiar with mechanical design and fabrication. Experience with electrical
systems, including computerized induction/ignition systems. Skills include use of power and hand
tools, use of diagnostic equipment and experience with operation of vehicles and equipment.
