The opportunity: The Director, IT Forecast to Plan will play a key role in business system transformation programs and is responsible for defining the solution design and delivering the Supply Chain planning process across Integrated end to end supply chain - consumer and corrugated Mills (31) & Converting (200+). This role will provide the future roadmap of solution improvements and provide expertise to SAP IBP solution from built to run. How you will impact WestRock: Lead the global template design and roll out of SAP IBP Supply chain planning deployments Provide leadership on Forecast to Plan business processes - Demand planning, Supply Planning, Inventory optimization, Control tower, SAP S/4 Integrations etc. Translate business requirements to technology solutions to apply the right technology solutions. Partner with System integrator to ensure proper documentation of Blueprints and Functional Specifications Lead complete test plans and lead unit and integrated test cycles Identify and eliminate technical and implementation risks associated with a technology solution Consult with project managers to develop project plan for proposed solutions including estimates that address assumptions, resources, integration points and risk Proactively work with business leaders, process leaders, and project teams to identify technology solutions and integration opportunities to solve business needs Access the impact on legacy systems - Integration, timeline and collaborate with legacy team to deliver the changes per project plan Work with PMO team to develop the integrated Forecast to Plan project plan Lead team of system configurators partnering with System integration to deliver the solution Lead the project design, build & test various activities of transformation project Evaluate digital capabilities and provide point of view to leadership & influence the design Manage multiple projects using enterprise PMO methodology - Scope, risk, delivery, budget etc., collaborating with PM and resources from other team members Provide project / budget updates to executive IT and business leadership Plan and drive the change management and adoption of Forecast to Plan process Play a role of subject matter & solution architect expert for Forecast to Plan process What you need to succeed: BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent from an accredited university; Masters preferred, Minimum of 15 years' experience in Information Technology with minimum 5 years of work experience in managerial/team lead position 3+ transformation project experience with SAP APO/SAP IBP implementation Expert in implementing and leading Forecast to Plan 15+ Years of Hands-On functional SAP APO, SAP IBP, O9, Kinaxis etc. solution experience 5+ full cycle Forecast to plan (SAP APO /SAP IBP) business processes, Configurable product experience is Plus (Variant configuration) Extensive experience in the Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory optimization, DRP, Control Towers, KPI & Analytics, Integration with complex Legacy environment Understanding of ERP, Logistics, Production and Finance is plus and integration of ERP & MES Must have SAP APO/IBP functional/configuration knowledge on the following Integration areas: Demand Planning Supply Planning (Optimization engine expertise) Inventory Optimization Expertise Cloud Integration and CIF Able to build and review detailed functional & technical documents, Reports, Function modules, Transactions, Interfaces, Output processing Demonstrate strong collaboration, interpersonal, communication & Presentation skills. Leadership skills 5+ years, managing global team Preferred Qualifications: Background and understanding of the manufacturing industry and supply chain management.
