The Quality Improvement Manager for the Behavioral Health programs directs the management and activities of the quality improvement process in the assigned specialty area of Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana according to approved policies and procedures, accreditation and licensing bodies, and grant, contracting and funding entities. While not involved in direct client care, the Quality Improvement Manager ensures those engaged in programs receive the appropriate quality services to aid them to realize and achieve their goals. The Quality Improvement Manager is vital to ensuring that billing, including Medicaid and other medical care entities (MCE), is consistent with the services provided.

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in a human services field with a minimum of 5 years experience. A Master’s degree is preferred. Licensure in mental health or substance abuse treatment (LSW, LISW, LCSW, etc.) is required with an independent licensure preferred. Prior experience with electronic health records, Medicaid and provision of clinical services is required. Applicants must also have a valid driver’s license.
