Architecting global solutions to enable best-in-class global analytic platforms, business intelligence, reporting, and analytic capabilities. Technologies include Hadoop, MemSQL, SAS, SAP BW, SAP HANA, AWS Services, BODS, Tableau, and other emerging Analytics Technologies
Partnering with Business Partners, Business Relationship Managers, Data Scientist, and Application Developers to evaluate business requirements for new opportunities and developing solutions aligning to Client Company's Global Analytic Solutions Roadmap
Driving process and technology improvement opportunities for global Analytics Architecture
Maintaining knowledge base, evaluate new technologies, Statements of Work, Technical Architect Documentation, etc. to evolve a consistent Global Analytic Solution information and technology roadmap
Building strong knowledge of emerging analytical technology capabilities in the marketplace and ensure internal teams are aware of their maturity and relevance to business needs
Driving technical Reuse / Buy / Build architect analysis for project execution
Being responsible for technical aspects of projects from requirements through implementation by serving as an SME and educator to the organization and supplier partners
Collaborating with IT Operations, Delivery and Enterprise Architecture counterparts to ensure that solutions are well-documented, strategically aligned and sustainable
Experience required in:
Demonstrated experience in the knowledge of Analytics Industry processes
Demonstrated experience in hands-on application architecture with multiple Analytics platforms and software packages
Demonstrated experience in full life cycle analytics development, architect, tuning, and support
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts by adjusting messaging to the audience: business partners, executives, IT peers, external stakeholders, etc.
Ability to manage work within a highly iterative, agile development process to provide value to the business at consistent, short intervals
Proven experience architecting Global Business Analytics capabilities that advance large global corporations toward fact-based decision-making organizations, including Master Data Management, Information Management, Data Governance, Data Science, Global Platform Technical Architect, and Data Engineering
Ability to reach across global regions to understand long-term Business Intelligence/Analytic business needs and synthesize into a Global Analytic Solutions Strategy and Roadmap
Proven documentation skills that enable complex concepts/solutions to be communicated clearly and articulately
MEMSQL, Hadoop, SQL Server, SAP and AWS Services are required from an architecture standpoint
Direct hands-on configuration skills, bringing in new technology and helping set up with help of vendors
Ability to estimate work effort with a high degree of accuracy
Ability to identify and effectively resolve issues
