Service Desk Analysts represent the Service Desk by liaising with 2nd and 3rd level teams to help transition new and changing services. You might find yourself creating knowledge articles and arranging training for other Service Desk Analysts when needed. The primary function of this job is handling complex end-user support issues and providing support to team members by focusing on restoring service to the end users. We need the person in this position to know how your role as the Help Desk Analyst relates to IT projects and IT Service Management initiatives. Another important piece of knowledge candidates should have is an understanding of Incident, Problem, Change Management and other processes. Another important piece of knowledge candidates should have is how these processes work together to provide superior support and high availability of our business. The responsibilities for this Analyst job can sometimes include covering alternative shifts when needed.
- This position must facilitate user account management by closing tickets in a timely manner, while upholding customer service standards
- Maintain hardware and peripherals: Responsible for upgrading and replacing computer parts; handle documentation and asset inventory
- Meet and exceed SLA standards: Close tickets in a timely manner, while upholding customer service standards
- Understand and utilize ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, etc.) and how they are used in a corporate environment
- Troubleshoot end user issues: Provide root-cause analysis on various web and mobile applications; handle escalated tickets relating to server/network related issues
- Understand concepts related to networks, servers, PCs, databases, proprietary systems, etc.
Litigation Support:
Design, maintain and troubleshoot litigation support databases.
Process and load data, images, video, transcripts and other electronic files prepared by litigation support vendors and others into litigation technology services databases.
Provide specifications to litigation support vendors for processing firm data and images.
Provide troubleshooting of problem databases, load files or issues relating to litigation support applications or specialized applications as needed.
Set up and administer remote access to Firm databases.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
Train end-users on litigation support software.
Provide user support in litigation software and services when required - including after hours.
Coordination of electronic discovery either in-house or in conjunction with vendors.
Hands-on experience with Ipro, Eclipse SE, Case Notebook or other Litigation Support applications required.
Experience working with vendors on electronic discovery pricing proposals and project management.
Knowledge of imaging, scanning, OCR, electronic data production, harvesting of electronic data and database design and creation.
Prepare data, images and video for use at adversary proceedings including mediation, arbitration, hearings and trial.
