Biotech Company in San Diego is looking for Customer Support Representative

  • $20.00/hr
  • Sorrento Valley
  • Customer Technical Support Representative
  • Hours Available: TUE-SAT 5:00AM - 2:00PM / SUN - THUR 5:00AM - 2:00PM

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in biology or health related field or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience preferred.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 1+ years of related customer service experience in a fast-paced, call center or customer support environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook preferred.

Job Description:

As a Customer Support Representative, you are on the front lines interacting with patients, parents, and caretakers; you provide support for current patients. Ensuring a high quality experience for each patient by appropriately engaging and connecting with them by taking calls in a call center environment. Responsible for determining the level of complexity of each contact with the goal of achieving the highest initial resolution. Each agent is main focus is one-call-resolution to ensure a great customer experience each time.

  • Answer inbound calls and electronic mail regarding medical device and the functionality utilizing SOP for device
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and customer service skills on the phone
  • Ability to problem solve, particularly when confronted with a difficult and/or complex patient account
  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions in responding to customer requests
  • Uses training materials and process flow charts to record accurate and thorough documentation of customer contact calls and emails within the CRM system.
  • Identifies potential health and safety issues with products and follows appropriate internal notification procedures
  • Ensures work is performed in compliance with company policies including Privacy/HIPAA and other regulatory, legal, and safety requirements
  • Assumes and perform other duties as assigned.
